How matchmaking works in practice?
Matchmaking in a nutshell:
- Register to EnergyWeek Matchmaking on this website.
- See who is attending and book meetings > participants. You can book and manage meetings on this website and with 'b2match' app (iOS, Android).
- Prepare well for the meetings and be on time! Note that the meetings take place onsite, on the 4th floor of the Vaasa City Hall.
- After the event, give feedback to organizers.

Matchmaking explained in more detail:
1. Register
Register to the event on this website and add your availability to have meetings.
Your participant profile is visible to other participants on the event website. Describe clearly in your profile what you are looking for and what you can offer to potential partners. The better the participant profile, the more meeting invitations you will receive!
Note that the participant profile is your digital business card, and it is visible to all Internet browsers around the world.
2. Book meetings
The booking of meetings starts on 1 March 2023.
Check other participants’ profiles and send meeting invitations to those you wish to meet. Remember to also accept/decline the meeting invitations you receive. When accepting the meeting invitation, select the most suitable timeslot for the meeting. The matchmaking system takes into account the availability of both the participants.
If you cannot send a meeting invitation (the button is grey), add timeslots to your availability to have meetings, you can also contact the organizers. You can also send messages to other participants via the matchmaking system.
You can book and manage meetings on this website, and also with the app 'b2match', which is available for Android and iOS.
3. Prepare well for the meetings and be on time!
To make the most of the event, prepare well for the meetings! You can always check your personal meeting agenda online on the event website. The meeting agenda includes information about who you will meet, at what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.
The pre-scheduled 20 min one-to-one meetings take place on the 4th floor of the Vaasa City Hall. Be on time! The organizers are there to help you throughout the event.
If for some reason you cannot join the meeting, please inform your meeting partner and the organizers.
4. Give feedback after the event
The organizers will ask for your feedback about the event and the meetings you had.
We highly appreciate your feedback, as it is valuable information on how to improve our matchmaking services and whether the meetings you had were useful and might lead to cooperation.
